Am-Can Ch. Wind Dance RC Ithaca Autumn SDHF, OS "Fella"

 We met Fella for the first time at Richard and Nancy Hawley's beautiful home in Eagle River, Alaska.  It was a warm summer's afternoon.  We were all sitting on the back porch talking about Iris and her sire, Breaker, who also lived with the Hawleys and Fella.  Richard was sitting quietly, but decided to throw some bumpers for Breaker and Fella to chase.  Fella exploded outward toward the bumper, beating Breaker to the bumper by a full stride.  The balance of beauty, power, and drive in Fella was breathtaking to observe.  Click here for a list of Fella's wins.

 We had been looking for a Golden girl who would not only be healthy and beautiful, but who would also have that sporting "drive" that is, to us, the mark of a Golden.  Imagine our surprise when we found that Mariner Kennels was planning to breed Can CH Mariner Deck the Halls by Tempo to Am Can CH Wind Dance RC Ithaca Autumn, the very same Fella to whom we had fallen in love with several years before. In Angel we have found a female version of Fella; beautiful, independent, and driven.
