Can. CH Mariner Moving
To A New Place JH WCX CGC
"Ceide"
Ceide lives in Round Pond, Maine, with her
owners, Kathy and Wally Leeman, and fellow golden, Bridy, another Mariner
golden. Kathy is an
artist and Wally a commercial fisherman.
"Ceide is the golden that my husband and I
always dreamed of. She brings so many
wonderful qualities to the table, and we are forever grateful
to those breeders who made this little girl possible!
Overall, her
light color, cute look, and delightful personality make her very appealing.
Structurally, she's got nice balance, stands
very square, good angle, good shoulder
assembly, good bone and moves beautifully when
viewed from any angle.
Most of all, we delight in her "I'm a
princess attitude"...very full of herself,
totally loving, totally attached to us, intelligent,
good courage, very biddable, very solid....very confident.
At 8 weeks of age, I discovered that Ceide would turn inside out for a
bird. The rest of the world disappeared when there were feathers present!
This was the start of an adventure for both of us...hours upon hours
of training, wonderful new friendships, ....and some titles!
Her first achievement
was the completion of her JH title in September of 2000 at the age
of 1 1/2 years old. This was followed by her WC at the 2000 National shortly afterwards. Then it was back to the
training field to prepare for her SH.
Although this title is as yet elusive, Ceide completed a very difficult test to receive her WCX in July of 2002.
After a break so Ceide could have a litter with Talon (CH Daybreak Varsity Jump),
we have high hopes for the
completion of her SH this coming summer.
When not out
in the field, we all enjoy some happy times on our lobster boat on the coast
of Maine. How may goldens can claim they've fetched up a lobster!!"
